About the Author

Author of the P.X Trilogy

Kerim Tapkan

Engineer by craft. Storyteller by instinct. Worldbuilder driven by a lifelong fascination with history, space, and the hidden patterns that shape civilizations.

Kerim Tapkan is a naval architect and senior project manager based in Istanbul, Türkiye, specializing in the design and construction of modern megayachts. His career has taken him across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, working with world-class engineering teams and navigating the complexities of building vessels that push the boundaries of innovation and design.

But long before he built ships, he built worlds.

For more than twenty years, Kerim has been drawn to the hidden structures behind human history: the rise and fall of empires, the unseen forces that shape civilizations, and the repeating patterns that echo across centuries. These fascinations eventually converged into the foundation of the P.X Saga, written during early mornings, late nights, and countless quiet hours carved from demanding shipyard schedules.

P.X: No Man’s Space—the first book of the trilogy—braids together Kerim’s love of historical mysteries, aerospace engineering, and speculative worldbuilding. From the grand avenues of Vienna to the sunlit arches of Seville, real-world echoes fold into interstellar politics, anomaly science, and deep-time mythologies. Each element draws from the same creative well: a belief that humanity’s story is far older, larger, and more interconnected than we imagine.

Kerim’s engineering background gives his writing a grounded realism, while his imagination opens the door to galaxies, civilizations, and timelines shaped by choices, consequences, and the eternal search for meaning.

He lives in Istanbul with his wife, Fulya, and his son, Can, whose curiosity and conversations helped inspire parts of the P.X universe.
P.X: No Man’s Space is his debut novel, the beginning of a saga years in the making.
